A canvas giclee (gee-clay) is a french derived term which basically represents any inkjet-based high resolution digitial image or scan of the original artwork which is then reproduced on canvas. Each canvas is color corrected to match the original as close as possible and printed using Epson Archival Inks. The canvases are are a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton that provide a water resistance and high gloss finish. I stretch all canvases on standard ¾” strecher bars stapled on the back, (unless otherwise noted) with a white edge exposed on the sides. They come ready to hang with a wire across the back. I sign the front of the canvas with a silver paint pen. The back has the title of the print and my signature signed with a charcoal pencil. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction and is your closest option to the original!
